The reed cage in the intake tract of the 2017-2024 KTM and Husqvarna EXCF / XCFW / XFW / FE and FE-S goes down as one of the worst ideas ever. EVER. If the reeds break and stick in between your valves and valve seat, then you're done. You may be stranded for days and die, or it may just cost you thousands to fix. After removing the reeds, the bike will run lean.
